Why Choose the Mazda Total Advantage Plan?

Mazda designed and built your vehicle and they know it better than anyone else could, so having Mazda help you maintain your Mazda vehicle is a good idea. Purchasing the Total Advantage plan is simply a way to pre-pay for future maintenance and service on a scheduled built by the folks that built the car. A plan can also help keep around 25% of regular service costs in your wallet over the lifetime of the plan, versus paying for them as they come.

Factory Recommended Scheduled Maintenance Options

Schedule 1 (7,500 miles or 6 months, normal driving)

This plan is meant for drivers that drive in Normal Driving Conditions. Every 7,500 miles, this schedule replaces the engine oil and oil filter, rotates tires, and lubricates hinges and locks. At 15,000, it's the same as above, but adds a brake inspection. Hit 30,000 miles and do all of the above, plus tighten nuts and bolts on body and chassis, and perform a thorough inspection service.

Keep up all of these services on a 7,500 mile/or six months schedule until your car reaches the 60,000 mile mark, at which time all of above services and inspections are done, as well engine coolant replacement.

Schedule 2 (5,000 miles or 4 months, unique driving)

This plan is meant for drivers that experience Unique Driving Conditions, such as habitual short-distance driving, dusty conditions, excessive braking, heavy salt or other corrosive materials usage in a region, rough or muddy roads, excessive mountain driving, extended low-speed driving or long idling periods, extremely humid, or hot or cold climate driving.

The schedule for this plan is kept on a 5,000 mile/4 month basis. At 5,000 miles or 4 months, replace engine oil and oil filter, lubricated hinges and locks, rotate tires, perform detailed inspection services. Include all of the prior list at every 5,000 miles, plus a new cabin air filter at 25,000 miles; then tighten nuts and bolts at 30,000; and a new engine air filter at 35,000 miles. Repeat these replacement and fluid changing procedures every 5,000 miles or 4 months, up to the 60,000 mile mark, and/or the end of the maintenance plan.
