• The Grand Touring (GT) trim level Mazda6 comes with all of the items above and adds exclusively designed 19-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, an eight-way power adjustable driver seat (with adjustable lumbar support and driver memory settings), a rear spoiler, and a power adjustable front passenger seat. The GT technology package yields an energy conservation system known as “i-Eloop”, a frontal collision warning system with mitigated braking, a lane departure warning system, automatic high-beam headlight controls, and adaptive cruise control.

All 2016 Mazda6s are equipped with a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine that manufactures 184-horsepower and 185 lb.-ft. of torque. Sport and Touring models can have the four-cylinder mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. The Grand Touring model comes with only the automatic transmission. All models come with shift paddles on the steering wheel as standard equipment. The USEPA estimates that the 2016 Mazda6 gets 26 mpg city/38 mpg highway/31 mpg combined when outfitted with the automatic transmission and 25 mpg city/37 mpg highway/29 mpg combined when equipped with the manual transmission. The 2016 Mazda6 with i-Eloop earned an impressive 28 mpg city/40 mpg highway/32 mpg combined.
