Read Mazda Tire Size

We’ve all seen the numbers and letters on the walls of the tires on our vehicles but do you know what they mean?

The first letter you see indicates the type of tire. The number to the right indicates the width in millimeters of the tire which on this model is [width].

The second number you’ll see is the aspect ratio which tells you the width versus the height.

Finally in most cases the sequence ends with the letter “R”, “D” or “B” followed by another number which indicates the rim size. So we know that this tire is mounted on a [number] inch rim.
